How we do it

Our decorative ceramic murals are hand painted on raw (non glazed) ceramic tiles or plaques.

We decorate one of their faces with enamels and perform a glazing process following basically the typical spanish ceramic ellaboration.
Dry rope and Overglaze are the techniques we use.

Brush painting, or with a needle depending on the technique, we deposit thin layers of enamels dissolved in water on the raw surface of the tiles or plaques.

Ceramic enamels are composed of small amounts of inorganic components called pigments - such as calcium, iron, cobalt, iodium, etc... that give the colours - included in a glassy matrix. They are used to represent the decorative motif on the tiles that compose the mural. Then or before, depending on the technique the tile is glazed.

The next step is the firing in kiln up to 980 ºC. After the proper cooling time, the craft process is finished.

After checking and sorting every tile, we take a picture of the work that is e-mailed to the customer.

Finally we package properly before shipping.
